Completed Ashcroft Homes standalone house at evening light
Standalone new homes

A home built around how you actually live.

The standalone new build is what most people picture when they think "new home" — and it's the type of home we've been building across Auckland for years. Own section, one house, one family. We make it simple to get there.

How it works

Two ways to get to a great home.

Some clients come with a section and a clear idea. Others have a section and are still deciding. Either way, we start the same: a free site evaluation, an honest read on what's possible, then a path.

1. Choose an Ashcroft plan

The Highgate, Lincoln and Dartford are proven Ashcroft plans — tested layouts, adaptable to your section, priced honestly from the start. The fastest path from decision to moving day.

2. Build from your brief

Have an architect, a concept, or a wish list? We build from your drawings, or we'll bring design into the feasibility step. Either way, the pricing stays open-book.

What's included

A standalone build, with the sharp edges sanded off.

A new home shouldn't be a mystery tour. What you pay for, who you deal with, and when things happen — all of it should be visible from the start.

01

Free site evaluation

We visit your section, walk it with you, and tell you honestly what's realistic — sun, slope, access, servicing, and the home types that fit. No cost, no commitment.

02

Fixed-price feasibility

A design (yours or ours), a full specification, and a fixed-price contract — every line item visible. You decide on real numbers, not estimates.

03

Consent & construction

We run the building consent process, coordinate trades and suppliers, and keep the site moving. You get regular updates; you're never waiting to hear.

04

Handover & guarantees

Final walk-through, keys, and the paperwork — including Master Build guarantees that back the home long after the last tradesperson leaves.

From a recent standalone client

"Professional, well-managed, and stress-free."

Ashcroft built our new home and we couldn't be happier with the result. The whole experience was professional, well-managed, and stress-free. We would definitely recommend them.

From the very start, the team was responsive, transparent, and easy to communicate with throughout the build. Both homes were completed on time and to an excellent standard. Ashcroft exceeded our expectations.
